I will certainly not pretend to be an expert in the English language. However, I made some research on Wikipedia and found a list on how to use quotation marks in different languages and in different parts of the English speaking world. My understanding is that in the UK, Australia and New Zealand single quotes are primary while double quotes are secondary. The opposite is the case in the USA (as in Sweden).

Thus, I propose that the proper UK usage is to be applied here ;)

Whether to use -ise or -ize (organise or organize) is however not a difference between any North American or English standard since both are right in the UK (as long as you’re consistent) – that I leard quite recently.

Thanks so much for this partial translation. Is there any chance of more of this book being translated into English?
